Our April Mission Project will support Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services (IRIS) in New Haven. IRIS is a non-profit agency whose mission is to help refugees and other displaced people establish new lives, strengthen hope, and contribute to the vitality of Connecticut’s communities.

Welcoming persecuted people from other countries is America’s most noble tradition. IRIS helps newcomers on the road to self-sufficiency by providing lifesaving support during their transition to life in the United States. Learn more at www.irisct.org.

Below is a list of the many items that IRIS is seeking.

You can bring any donations to the church with you on Sunday or can be left in the Green Bin out front any time during the week during April.

Monetary donations are also being accepted – please make checks out to UMC Branford with “IRIS” in the memo or use our online giving option selection “Special” from the dropdown and “IRIS” in the Note field
