Stewardship Sunday
Pastor Kent Jackson
Scripture Reading: Acts 18:1-11
Sermon Title: “Tentmakers by Trade”
We tend to think of the Apostle Paul as a great evangelist, and he was.
However, even Paul needed reassurance from the Lord in order to pursue his calling.
This weeks message will remind us that the Lord will speak words of strength and encouragement into our lives and ministry.

Sermon Title: “Keys for Evangelism”
This week’s message focuses on Paul’s visit to the Areopagus as he shared the truth of Jesus’ death and resurrection through a reasoned discourse with the intellectuals of the city. Scripture Reading: Acts 16:6-10
Sermon Title: “Guided by the Spirit”
How do we feel and react when things don’t go our way…when we hit a road block or barrier and can’t accomplish the task(s) WE want to do? Do we pout and complain or will we stop and pause to think that maybe God has a different direction for us to go, a different location to pursue or task to do?

Pastor Kent Jackson
Scripture Reading: Acts 15:1-11
Sermon Title: “Hearts Purified By Faith”
How do we “get right with God”? It’s a question many people are asking. While we may want to “do something” to earn God’s forgiveness, scripture affirms that believing in Jesus is all that is necessary. Salvation is not something we check off a list, rather it is found in an ever deepening relationship with Jesus our Savior.

Pastor Kent Jackson
Scripture Reading: Acts 14:21-28
Sermon Title: “Filing Reports”
Someone once said, “No job is finished until the paperwork is done.” In this week’s reading from Acts 14 we find Paul and Barnabas completing their “paperwork”. Their report was verbal, not written, but just the same, they gave a summary of their activities to the community that was supporting them. While we may gripe about the need to complete paperwork, this act of recalling successes and challenges can be a helpful part of evaluating the past and planning for the future.
